Packing Essentials

So you’ve got your ticket booked and your accommodations taken care of. It’s a week before your trip and you realize you haven’t thought about what you might need to pack! Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Aside from your passport, toothbrush and toothpaste, here’s a few items you might want to add to your checklist.

Sunscreen

This is an obvious but equally forgettable item to bring with you. Of course you can always purchase at our gift shop if you happen to leave yours at home. The sun can be pretty intense here in Jamaica, especially when sunbathing all day. So be prepared, your skin will thank you.

Beachwear

This is includes flip-flops, bathing suits, water-shoes (if that's your style) sunglasses and a hat. If you have these you're all set for the beach life. How much of each? I'd say enough to rotate a few times. The hotel does offer laundry service at a cost so you can always get your clothes washed if you run out.

Insect Repellent

Depending on the time of year that you're visiting mosquitoes and sandflies can be quite troublesome, so be sure to pack your favorite repellent. Of course you can always purchase this when you arrive as well at our gift shop.

Evening wear

Negril is, as they say, "The Captial of Casual" so there is no need for formal attire unless you're attending a wedding. Beach chic will always work in Negril. The most important thing is to be comfortable.

Suitcase

What will your hotel provide for you? Or in other words, what do you not need to pack. Well if you’re staying at Travellers, beach towels, irons,  body wash, shampoo and conditioner will all be provided for you. And if you’re staying in a superior room, deluxe, or suite, you can also leave your hairdryer at home. If your in another room type we’ll have a few available at the front desk that you can borrow.
