Commitment to your safety

We sincerely hope that you and your family have been keeping safe throughout this period of uncertainty. We also hope for a speedy economic recovery in your area. The times are challenging everywhere you look, including on our beautiful island paradise. However, we, along with the tourism related entities including transportation – air, road, and sea – have been rapidly updating operating procedures to ensure the safest experience from the time you land through until you depart.

What we are doing

The COVID19 pandemic has given rise to the need for additional health and safety protocols. While we continue to develop these protocols, here is what you can expect in the near future:

  • Staff trained on best practices for prevention.
  • For the moment – no buffets – a la carte restaurant service only.
  • New standards for setting tables. No exposed cutlery.
  • All staff will be temperature checked and hands sanitized upon entering the property.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be placed at the entrance of the lobby, front desk, bar, and gym.
  • Additional, comprehensive, disinfecting and deep cleaning throughout the property (guest rooms, offices, back of the house, front of the house). Special attention will be placed on high traffic areas such as the front desk, gym, restaurant tables, employee areas, and high traffic items such as door knobs, hand rails, remotes, and menus.  A continuous deep cleaning regime will be in place.
  • Encouraged distancing between beach and pool chairs.
  • Less restaurant and bar chairs available, each one adequately distanced from each other.
  • An effort to get all persons on property to follow safety recommendations both on and off property.
  • Many of our staff will be required to wear facial coverings, especially when they are interacting with you. Don’t worry, our “Travellers smile” will always be there we promise!
  • Behind the scenes, each department will have their own set of procedures that are aimed to disinfect and limit the chances of person to person transmission of any viral infection.

Many of these changes, and the ones under review, are being implemented as required by new Ministry of Health mandates.  We, as a property, are in support of the updated measures and will exceed them in our final list of protocols.  All of our procedures are being implemented so that we can continue to provide a wonderful, relaxing experience under the safest conditions.  We hope for your understanding and we invite you to come experience our beautiful property.  The air under our charming sea grape tree is refreshing and the view as stunning as ever..
